Organic Purple

Andrea and Bryan were great stylists- wanting something unique and allowing the creative freedom that results in something different and surprising.. definitely fun from a floral point of view! Major credit to Dapper Images for the awesome photos.

Andrea's Bouquet of purple in all shades- lisianthus, dahlias, scabiosa, blooming oregano, miniature "Picasso" calla lilies, and dusty miller.

The amazing sun and wind on July 4th made the cabana come to life! Set on the Ocean View Villas' bluff, Andrea & Bryan enjoyed keeping it local in San Diego's Ocean Beach :)

Dangling mini cymbidium orchid blooms, vases, and votive candles swung in the breeze..

Vases of scabiosa and lisianthus greens hanging from the cabana cross bars.

Crazy composition centerpieces! Spanish moss, scabiosa, purple dendrobium orchids, curly willow, dusty miller, floating and votive candles..

Natural driftwood we incorporated to some of the tables...

Amazing lily in the perfect color combo- love that gradient of color from deep plum to ivory.

Dahlias and black river rock for the belly bars.

Yay! A happy bride and groom!!
Thanks again to DeShun with Dapper Images- fantastic shots!!!

Melanie and Anthony are such naturally nice people, it's beautiful to see them together..

No lack for yellow here :) Yellow orchids, freesia, calla lilies, dahlias, and fern for a wild and organic look.

I love the fresh combo of shiny stem green with goldy yellow and a clean matte khaki.

I'm sure there'll be more to see soon... thanks Melissa for the great pics!

Yummy Yellow

Chelsea Anne, I can't thank you enough! The flowers look good enough to eat!!

Gina and Josh wanted a very organic, natural feel to their wedding flowers; and in summer shades of golden yellow, peach, and orange- it was a fun wedding to create!

Gina's bouquet of white allium and dahlias, yellow stars of bethlehem, orange mokara orchids, peach calla lilies, and variegated geranium.

Cutie pie ringbearer with a boutonniere of a single pink rose and white dahlia bud.

Sweetness in a bridesmaid bouquet- the specialty parrot tulips were the perfectly blended shade of butter yellow and candy pink all in one.

The venue Paradise Gardens has an adorable gazebo that allows for some fun arrangements to frame the couple, and with that amazing lotus pond in the background!

All along the aisle, petite vases of Creamy Eden spray roses, pink coxcomb, and orange mokaras.

Check out the amazing dahlias!! I love those big fluffy varieties that come in by chance in exactly the right color I need for the weekend! With the buplureum and parrot tulips, white trichyllium, and golden james storie orchids, this ringed their sweetheart table.

Thank you again Chelsea Anne, and Congratulations to Gina & Josh!!

More woodsy love..

Even though I love to post my un-pro shots right away, I usually can't help but do a second post with the amazing pictures that come in from the many talented photographers I get to work with- so obviously when Pam Scott sent me a link to her blog with the photos of Kim & Gabe I was floored- the colors came out amazingly vibrant!

Gabe's boutonniere of golden james storie orchids and coral alstroemeria.

Kim's bouquet of mixed gerberas, alstroemeria, dahlias, and hydrangea.

The gerbera lined aisle, leading the way...

...and way to show off the arch! I love the close up of how a very rustic wrought iron arch can be so versatile, looking fun and bright covered in gerbera daisies and orange ribbons.

xoxo!
